METRIC MOVEMENT
Goodyear Engineered Products has introduced GY Metric, a power transmission v-belt designed to assist plant engineers with maintenance and repair operations on industrial equipment using metric standard unit measurements. GY Metric belts are produced in North America and are readily available for maintenance and repair operations on foreign manufactured equipment. The belts also incorporate a rubber compound that dissipates static electrical charge buildups.

POWER DISTRIBUTION
Goodyear has begun shipping industrial power transmission belts from a Moberly, Mo., distribution center. Before shipping, Dale Wellman, general manager for logistics provider Exel, inspects a Goodyear Falcon, a convenient substitute belt for competitors¿ products.

SUPER LUBE
Originally designed for industrial applications, the new Goodyear Super Torque Pd oil pump drive belt is compact and energy efficient, providing NASCAR engine builders and crew chiefs with a greater choice of sprocket ratios between oil pump drives and engines. The five-millimeter tooth pitch belt uses smaller pulleys, which reduce the size of the drive system, conserving the amount of energy required to operate the oil pump drive components.

SYNC IT UP
To complement its Falcon Pd power transmission belts, Goodyear Engineered Products now offers a full line of matching sprockets. With more than 175 sprocket sizes, the synchronous belt-and-sprocket system provides Goodyear customers with greater design flexibility for a broad range of industrial applications.
