The customer was looking to increase belt life and decrease maintenance and replacement costs, but still needed a heavy-duty drive system that could handle a historically rigorous application.

Solution:

Veyance application engineers tested several belts on the drive system until seeing the success of the upgraded Falcon HTC^® product. Working directly with the facility’s maintenance crew, Goodyear Engineered Products sales representatives properly tensioned and aligned the system, extending belt life from three to four weeks to over six months, with a six hundred percent improvement in belt life. 

Facility maintenance have noticed that the belt  “Looks like they’re still new” 40 days in.”
